Easily view and transfer capital through the Portfolio view
A capital call is when a General Partner (GP) in a fund collects investment dollars from the Limited Partners (LPs) in the fund. At Gridline, we offer a variety of call schedules depending on the fund you have chosen to invest in and the amount of investment in that fund.
When configuring your investment, you will select and commit to a capital call schedule. Completing capital calls is easy. To view the wire instructions for a committed investment, navigate to your Portfolio, scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see all committed and active investments listed. Select the "Transfer Capital" button to display your wiring instructions.
Important: Gridline generates a unique account number that pertains to each investment. This helps us ensure a secure payment path for you, and helps us automatically reconcile capital calls as they come in. Please do not reuse past wiring instructions. Currently, wires are the primary payment method, but ACH is available upon request.
