What Does Investment Status Mean?

Investments in your portfolio will display a status that represents its stage in the investment lifecycle

You will see several investment statuses represented in your portfolio. These are important because they will help you understand if further action is needed to finalize your investment or how your committed investment is progressing.

The statuses an investment can be in are:

  • In Progress: The investment has been configured, documents have been generated, but no signatures have been executed. When an investment is "In Progress" you'll see the option to "Complete Now", which will bring you directly to the document signing step.
  • Pending Signatures: In some cases there will be more than one signer required to complete the investment documents. This status means that we are waiting on a signer to execute their part of the investment documents. Some reasons for second signers could be individuals with spouses that are co-signers, or entities where the signing authority is someone else.
  • Committed: Investment documents have been signed by all parties and the investment is fully committed, but the fund has not been finalized yet. Once a fund is finalized, the status will move to Active.
  • Active: In an active investment the collected capital is currently being deployed or has already been deployed.
  • Completed: Represents a completed investment in which all distributions have been completed. Fund investments are usually a term of 10 years.
