Creating your free Gridline account takes just a couple of minutes.
The steps to create your account are:
- Create your account - Set up your login account with a verified email address and password at app.gridline.co.
- Learn more about creating your account using your Google profile here
- Create your Investor Profile - Create your first Investor Profile by answering a few questions regarding your investment history and goals relating to alternatives.
- If you are creating an account for yourself or an entity you manage, please select "Individual" as your profile type.
- If you are creating an account on behalf of clients, please select "Advisor"
- Accreditation - Select the method in which you or your entity qualify as an accredited investor or a qualified purchaser. Due to SEC regulations, only accredited investors (AI) are able to invest in private funds.
- Know-Your-Customer (KYC)/Know-Your-Business (KYB) Verification - We'll perform a quick identity verification to confirm your or your entity's information. This check runs against the industry leading services for verifying individuals and businesses. Usually this takes only a few seconds to perform, but in some cases you'll be prompted to provide additional documentation or we'll need to manually review. A ticket will be opened with our Support team should this be necessary.
Tips:
- Confirm that the information you entered for you name, address, SSN/EIN/TIN, etc. are correct for the individual or entity you are submitting. False or placeholder identification numbers will cause the verification to fail and will delay your account approval.
- Verification emails can sometimes go to your spam folder. If you're having trouble receiving a verification email when creating your account, checking your spam first is the best step to take.
Once these steps are completed you are able to view our open investment opportunities and start investing.
