What Are Gridline's Fees?

Gridline charges a simple AUM fee based on your level of investment.

Gridline's fees are an annual AUM (assets under management) fee that is calculated based on your total AUM invested on Gridline. The management fee is fully inclusive and there are no other expenses or fees charged for fund administration, legal and fund formation, audit fees, or one-time setup fees. See here for information on carry fees.

Fees are attributed to each investment that you make through Gridline. When making a new investment, your fee will be calculated based on your current AUM (past investments) plus the additional new investment you are making. We do this to ensure each new investment you make is always getting the best fee applied. Fees are locked for the life of the investment.

Examples:

  • This is your first investment with Gridline. You have decided to invest $500,000 in the Venture Portfolio Fund. Since this is your first investment, you have $0 AUM through Gridline. Your Gridline AUM fee for this investment will be 1.0%.
  • This is your fifth investment with Gridline. Your current AUM across all previous investments is $2,500,000. You have decided to invest $500,000 in the Venture Portfolio Fund. Your current AUM of $2,500,000 plus your new investment of $500,000 will create a total Gridline AUM of $3,000,000. The fee for this $500,000 investment will be 0.65%.
